Please include your car's generation in your questions

For example:
(3) My DP melted off. Could it have damaged my turbos?
(2) Where is my TPS?
(1) How do I adjust my A/F ratio on my carb?

Should make it a bit easier to get answers.

Yep, I hate trying to answer a question, and the person didn't include their year and model.

79 RX-7

I am leaking water out my exhaust this didn't happen until I put a new water pump on .... The person who installed it put it on and said nothing until I tried to start it and it started to leak.
What is the piece of metal that connects the engine to the water pump called ... I just removed it and it was
rusted and crumbling to crap .... I was wondering if
this is the reason im getting water in the exhaust or is it something else also ? There also was no gasket to be found where the peice connects to the engine and it looks like there was one there at one time ? I think when the water pump was replaced the gasket prob. broke and the guy just put it back together ?
If you can help with any input I would greatly appreciate it ?

That is your water pump housing. You need a gasket between that and the water pump. Now go and get one please.

Angry 86-G2 PROBLEMS!!

Help,,,

--- any experience,, or gut-check -----

(1) bubbles on dipstick, new 20-50 (old looked normal)..
loss of Oil Pressure quickly 1-2 Mins. after "started engine,
engine sounds good, no leaks,smoke.

--- previously had overheated (pegged), fixed heater hose, maybe did not let cool down b4 new water.
-- then replaced 1.5 qts with 5-20 for 50-100 miles (THOUGHT would help reduce sludge from heat...)

(2) starter problem recently,
-- is it just a coincidence,, no response at start "relay-click,, not bendix",,
battery good,, have not pulled/tested starter..

Thank You,

Jim
