simple oil chang Q.

aside from just a drain and refill, obviously replacing oil filter...

do i need to fill the oil filter with oil or just lube the gasket?

furthermore, with the 13b having the MOP, is there a trick to getting all of that oil to drain and refill without trouble in the lines???

thnx shawn

No, just warm up the car, drain the oil, lube the filter gasket.

IMPORTANT: Replace the drain plug crush washer. If you try to reuse the previous washer, it will leak. They're cheap and readily available at the dealership.

It's usually a good idea to replace the crush washer however I have reused mine for it's entire 39k mile original engine life and never had a leak.
