Side seal question

A side seal that I got from the dealer has a different shape than those in my rebuild kit. The best way to describe it is that it has a smaller radius than the other 11 and does not align with the groove. To be clear it is not bent, but doesn't follow the same arc as the groove or the other 11 seals. Since it doesn't have to flex much to fit, I went ahead and clearanced it with the intention of using it in my rebuild. I didn't grab a picture but if you put one end of the seal into the groove, the other end of the seal lands below the corner seal and has to be flexed into position. It seems to spring back up and down fine, but I still was curious to know if anybody else had dealt with something like this before.

it just got bent, if you are gentle you can straighten it.

Should I bend it though? Is getting it to the same shape necessary to avoid it possibly binding? I guess I thought that just getting another seal and clearancing it would be the safest thing to do. When I got the seal from the parts department it was still sealed in the bag so I didn't think anything of it. Thank you for your help.
