Should I drain the fuel?

I have an RX-7 that I'm just about to get running, but it's been sitting for about 4 months with half a tank of gas in it and I'm wondering if I should start it up with the fuel thats already in there or if I should drain it and fill it up with fresh gas.

Mine sits for 6 months every winter. Fuel is still fine in the spring. Been doing this for 6 years. I'm told by the petroleum engineers it will be fine for about a year.
