Serious problem with R1

I started my R1 last night and it began to idle roughly. Not thinking much about it I hopped in it and began a 100 mile hike to Washington D.C. On the highway it accelerated smoothly but once I got to any steady speed the engine seemed to hesistate until I applied more gas. I noticed that in a stretch of maybe 40 miles the car burned over a quarter tank of gas. I pulled over to a gas station and the smell of oil (smoke) was pouring from under the hood. I couldn't see an yobvious leaks however lighting was dim. I put more oil in the car however the oil pressure remained at 0. The car will start but it idles really rough and then it just shuts down after a minute.

Any advice? I just spent over $1,000 four days ago to have Peter Farrell replace the clutch. He indicated that he would not be able to look at the car for another two or three months.

Sounds like two things in the same area....check the MAP sensor and Oil pressure sender connection. Did he replace the oil or something? or any reason to be near the oil filter? Hope this is your problem.
