Scammed need advice

Back in January, I bought 73 RX2 from BLACKrotor92. I drove from Maryland down to South Carolina with a trailer, 500 miles. I talked to to BLACKrotor92 several times, asking about the car. Does it RUN, and he replied, yes it does. So when I went to buy and pick the car up, I said " Let me hear it run " so he proceeded to start the car, It ran for 10 sec. and stalled. He reassured me as well as his brother and father that the car was out of gas. So I went on my way, drug the car back home. It is really cold here in Maryland in January, So I threw some gas in it, tried to start it, it ran for 10 sec. and stalled. I would have to wait till warmer weather to mess with it. I contacted BLACKrotor92 about the problem, he said I have no idea. Now let me point out that he was selling the car listed as a bridgeport 12A rebuilt with less than a thousand miles on the motor. So anyway, I'm thinking it's a fuel problem, so I take the Nikki carb. and stock manifold off and put the Racing Beat manifold (which was cracked and I had to get it welded) and Holley 600 4 barrel. So I get the car to run, as long as it was above 3000 rpm, as soon as it got to operating temp. the over flow starts shooting coolant everywhere and I shut it down. So here is the kicker, I check the oil after this and the oil is full of coolant. So please write in and tell me what you think. Was I scammed ? Does the not running below 3000 rpm have anything to do with the coolant seal ? Would the oil not be mixed with coolant till the thermostat opens ? This really ***** my plans on cruising around this spring.

We know I need a Rebuild.(bad coolant seal) The decision I need to make is. I have a 73 engine with bridge ported housings and 1985 rotors and front cover. From looking around, it looks like 1973 engine kits are like finding a needle in a hay stack. Should I keep what I have and try to find a seal kit ? or should I update or mix and match ? I'm a virgin to the rotary internals, even though I have had many rotary's. I need help fellows, I'm not afraid to do what needs to be done, I will do it myself, like Ultimatejay. hopefully with his success but I need the wisdom of the guys that have made a reliable engine. Thanks in advance !!
