S5 13b in an S4
Are you going NA to NA? Turbo s4 to turbo s5? Na s4 to turbo s5?
The engine itself should bolt right in, but the wiring does not match up. I had a buddy do an s5 turbo swap into an s4 NA and he almost literally had to rewire the entire car. I was going to do an s5 swap into my s4 NA until I saw the wiring which changed my mind and I did an s4 instead. I believe the front harness is different (includes the dash wiring so you have to rip apart your whole interior and swap in the s5 wiring harness)

if the car is early s4 with low ohm injectors you may have to bridge the injector ballast resister ( or refit the early injectors )
you will need to change the injector clips as the s5 injector uses a different plug ( or change to the old injectors )
you will need to hook up the narrow range tps ( cut the plug and wire up only the narrow TPS )
and finally,, your EOMP is not going to work,, it will be stuck at one setting
you can supplement with premix,, or blank it and use premix
,, or you can fit the aftermarket EOMP controller and run it from a spare map sensor or from the wide range tps signal
