S4 T2 sunroof question....
here's the deal, i replaced my busted S.R. with one that 'works' but when i hook it up to the harness, nothing happens. none of the wires were cut when i took off my old one and i checked the underpanel fusebox and the S.R. fuse looks fine, not blown or anything like that, so what could it be?
i know the S.R. works because the guy who gave it to me tested it 1st and it worked fine, plus when i manually crank it, it cranks smooth. i hooked up my old busted one and even that doesn't work, no clicking noise whatsoever. i heard there's a 'reset' button on the car somewhere, (under the dash?), would i have to press it.
anyone got any helpful info? thanks in advance!

I know of no reset button but there are two relays you can find the factory repair manual or FRM for short in this forum pages 15-62 and 15-63 cover the sunroof electronics. The best approach is to use a meter to check if there is power going to sunroof when you push the button, If not work backwards till you find power.
