Every once in a while while I'm driving my 85' RX-7 the power will cut out and with the pedal to the floor it only goes about 25mph. I don't know what is wrong but hopefully someone else does. Please send some suggestions. Thanks

When's the last time you've performed maintence on it?
What's the mileage on the following items?

Fuel filter
Fuel pump
Catalytic converters
Carb

 

Maybe ignition related like a bad ignitor.Or bad ignition coils.
