rust repairs

can people please look at these photos. are there any people who have good experience in rust repairs? do you recommend:

angle grinding out the rust, and using filler. OR

cutting the rusty areas out, and welding in some new steel in the places?

im thinking of buying a mig welder and doing it myself.

here are the photos:

I used this stuff called POR15 stuff is awesome its like an epoxy paint type thingy get all the cleaners that they recommend and follow instruction that come with it it will take care of the rust and it will make sure it doesnt rust again in those areas. Search on ebay theres a couple places that sell kits with everything you need in them.

You have a few areas that can be tricky to fix right. I would take off the paint, grind the rust off until you have clean metal, then decide what to cut out. Those folded seam areas are a pain you have to get all the rust removed or treated or the problem will return worse in a year.

Learning to MIG weld on body metal will teach you quickly, the thinner the metal the harder to weld it without blowing holes in it.
