Are roll pins directional?

I never thought so, but I read a post that claimed they were supposed to be installed in a certain direction.

I know in the service manual for FD transmissions, they do specify an exact direction for them to face. Whether or not it REALLY matters... I don't know.

Put the split 90 degrees from the stress direction .
