REPU needs electronic ignition!

What would I need to scavenge from a 1st gen RX-7 to convert my 1974 REPU to electronic ignition? Anyone know of a step-by-step guide?

IMHO don't scrape up the parts from a first gen. Go right to DLDFIS from a 2nd gen. The firstgen forums should have plenty of writeups about it.

nevarmore, I think you're talking about 2GCDFIS (2GC = 2nd gen coil). All my REPUs have DLIDFIS and I couldn't be happier.

Yes I do. I was mainly trying to point him towards the work of others (you for one

). No sense in spending on an 'upgrade' to stock FB ignition when the FB ignition is being upgraded further for less moolah.

JEFFB-Can you point me to a write-up or give a step by step for converting my REPU?

EDIT..dumbass me..just found it on your website! Anything else special I should know about my newly acquired REPU?
