REPU needs electronic ignition!

What would I need to scavenge from a 1st gen RX-7 to convert my 1974 REPU to electronic ignition? Anyone know of a step-by-step guide?

IMHO don't scrape up the parts from a first gen. Go right to DLDFIS from a 2nd gen. The firstgen forums should have plenty of writeups about it.

nevarmore, I think you're talking about 2GCDFIS (2GC = 2nd gen coil). All my REPUs have DLIDFIS and I couldn't be happier.

Yes I do. I was mainly trying to point him towards the work of others (you for one :D ). No sense in spending on an 'upgrade' to stock FB ignition when the FB ignition is being upgraded further for less moolah.
