Do you have a turbo or NA? The motor must match the year and model of your car for the easiest fit. The 1992 year was kind of a void so was that engine from the new body style or the middle body style?
Make sure you need an engine first. When did it have no compression? Did you blow the engine? Was it dead when you bought it? No compression does not always mean dead. You could do the ATF in the rotors trick to loosen the seals and revive the engine.

no turbo, I have been real please for the last 5 yrs,but 2 yrs back my compression problem started,a tech from a mazda dealership showed me how to put soap in the intake to get the compression back, this has been going fine until a few months ago my motor started smoking real bad,the car would not go up hills, had the dealership come and get it,t est show that I needed a motor,so I have been looking.
