Rebuilding a TPS 88 T2

I would like to know if anyone has ever rebuilt a TPS, I have some good auto-electric experience, and want to know if the potentiometer and brush inside of their is fixeable, mine has high resistance. open her up and spray some brakekleen?

I heard of people using graphite spray on the TPS...

I usually just replace them if they're way too out of spec.
