Does anyone know if there is an issue with the DVD format used in Aus vs the DVD format in the US? The last thing I would want is to purchase this series and find out that it won't work in my US DVD player.

Turbo II-FB - Kinda hard to do that. Seeing that it is 4 DVDs . May be when some one gets it, they can do a review about it ... And than may be go from there if we wanna get a set too.

Diesel Power - You could drop them a e-mail and ask them about the compatibility for dvd regions. It should be fine thou since this sorta thing is not a movie and will not differ from region to region.

35 bux gets you the Bruce Torentin video from RA, which covers teardown, specing, cleaning, reasembly and also briefly covers pulling, although he has a video for installing and removing as well. You honestly don't need a video on removing/installing the engine, it's ******* easy. Just get a manual. The only part I have needed the video so far was tips on cleaning and specing, which you can just as easily get from this forum. Oh, and RA's video is on dvd and in stock right now.

dvd

Okay, well that's alot of good resources, I plan to do my first this sat
I've always messed around the rats nest & stuff so I'm comfortable down until then, I've never got down to the block itself so wish me luck!

I got an e-mail from New Zealand already about the DVD region compatability:

HI Jeff,

Yes it will. We have manufactured a NTSC version for your country.

Mak sure you select NTSC during the purchase process.

Regards

Dumb newbie question: What company is "RA" shorthand for? I'm interested in the DVD, but don't know where to look...
Thanks, Mark

anyone want to decode it and host it as a bittorrent. i GARUNTEE there will be a lot of activity!

however i saw this in the news a little while ago. $100 isnt too bad for 4 DVDs. That has got to be like 10 hours of footage atleast.

There is currently a group buy on MRC for a 4 box set of dvd's, on how to rebuild a rotary engine. Other dvd's available soon on tuning, porting and building 3 & 4 rotor engines.

Rather than just knicking someones livley hood and ripping it, as suggested you could get together and do a group buy. To date its cost approx £80 000 to set up and to give you a very professional dvd set and at approx £11 per disc plus taxes. We have been doing 10% off for group buys.
One just starting on nopistons or you could start one here.

Lance Warren is the guy who many have had problems with and used to have the old http://www.3rotor.com/ website. I'm pretty skeptical about him changing from his previous criminal activities and will be waiting to see what happens to you all who send him money...
