whats a rebuild kit for a n/a fc cost?

 

If you didn't blow an apex seal, just engine is worn/wearing out like low comp. etc, you can get by with a "gasket and seal kit" and new apex seals.

The gasket/seal kit complete for you car sells for about $110 at www.atkinsrotary.com and for $140 at www.mazdatrix.com.

Apex seal prices will vary, but usually about $35-40 each... and you need 6.

It's more stuff to get though if you have blown the engine

It varies a lot. Lots of shops will actually install a different rebuilt engine and take yours to keep. That way it's less time for the customers car in the shop when they can just take the engine out, and put a rebuilt one in. Prices really vary, especially with region and quality. In Canada here, there are not many shops, but they are inexpensive and you can get a quality rebuilt engine for about $1500-$2000 CDN ($1000-$1350 USD).

Check out rotary engine sites, it really varies. Search for "rebuilt rx-7 engine" or something. Here are a few:

That is just a few off hand, there are many. Probably expect it to cost in the range of $1200-$2200 USD.
