Questions motor has been sitting long time
Hey everybody heres the deal bought a engine out of a wrecked 1991 rx7 with 84k the engine has been sitting for years. i was assured it ran great b4 being wrecked. but here is the question i turn the engine over by hand and the rear rotor seems to be making great compression shooting a great deal of air out the spark plug hole. But the front does not, upon further investigation i noticed that one of the apex seals
appeared to be stuck in its groove on the rotor but the other two seemed fine. But anyway i guess my questions are is it normal for a engine that has been sitting for its seals to stick and if so what steps should i take to free the before installation in the car or should i just install the engine and start it and let that free up the seals thanks

Yeah so i thought one of the apex seals on the front rotor was stuck but turns out that its gone. But even stranger there is no damage to the rotor housing and no pieces of apex seal or spring or antythig to be found
But all turns out well called the guy i bought it from and he refunded my money and told me i could keep the engine
