gutting my fc question

hey i just started gutting my rx7 today. i was wondering theres this really hard and sticky material under the carpet. whats the easyiest way to remove it ive tried scrapping it but to do the whole car it would take forever. also any body every tried one of those roll cages made by jegs

dry ice!
once it is frozen, just tap it with a hammer and it will shatter apart

is this the best way my friend just told me he used a heat gun on his 240sx to remove it???? but dry ice seems easyier

do a search, its been talked about in a lot of threads. but yeah the dry ice way is the easiest.

i assume it would be cleaner than a heat gun too.
you don't have to worry about cleaning up all the melted goop...

anyhoo i always used dry ice. its really effortless

Dry ice, then use paint thinner/mineral spirits with a scotch brite pad to clean the remaining spider webs. Final clean with a degreaser and paper shop towels.
