Questions about poor man's Non-Sequential set up?
Hi I'm currently in the process of doing a poor man's non-sequential setup on my FD because I'm having boost transition problems.
I got a question for those who have experience with the poor man's non-sequential setup.
-I've already wire up the required resistors, but my question is what to do with the turbo PRE-CONTROL actuator?
-Is it normal in an open position, so can I just plug it up?
or do I have to remove it and weld it into the open position?
My plan is to delete the wastegate solenoid and Pre-control solenoid. I want to just use a manual boost controller to maintain 10psi on a stock ecu.

I would go full "rich man's" non seq, from what I've read about poor man's method its well worth the extra time to just do it right.

It's a small swing valve just like a wastegate. It's normally closed, and boost pressure acts on the diaphragm actuator to push the precontrol swing valve open. There are various ways of physically forcing it open. Any kind of welding or whatever is considered part of the "rich man's" process.
