Pusation Dampener 84 gsl se

I have an 84 gsl se and i was told when i bought it that the pulsation dampener seemed to be going bad i get a strong smell of gas when i drive, i have looked into replacing it but cannot find anywhere that carries them i dont want to go through my mazda dealer ive had some bad experiences with them does anyone know where i can get one.

do you understand that your car is leaking gas onto the engine, thats why you smell gas. This is a serious fire hazard. Fires caused by this part going bad are very common.

driving the car in this state is a darwinian act.

DO NOT drive your car until this is replaced/repaired, period. I have seen too many pics on this forum of engine bay fires from a leaking PD, not a pretty sight. Iirc, a new one is over 120 bucks. If you don't want to spend that much, there is the banjo bolt mod that is used to replace it (7 bucks). In case you don't know what you're looking for, in my sig line is a link to the online FSMs.
