MO Purging and the feul lines

Hi I'm Matt, i have a 1987 rx7 fc with the 13b rotory. I want to know what a safe way to purge my fuel lines would be. I'm wanting to do this without dumping the muck from the line in the engine any suggestions?

Probably the easiest way if your leaving everything on the car is unhook the fuel filter and do it that way

Or.... pull the return line from the tank and reroute if into a bucket, then jump the fuel pump from the diagnostic box in the bay. It'll run the pump while keeping the injectors closed and the engine off.

Its the same way you can test to see what your fuel pump is ACTUALLY flowing, it should absolutely work for purging any fuel currently in the lines.

Thanks. I did want you guys suggested, by disconnecting the feul from to motor, ran out the bad gas. Upon cranking I do actually get some back fire so its an improvement. Now I think it is needs to crank faster.

Well if you ran the pump to get the gas out, you can now change the Sock on the pump and the main fuel filter.
Any fuel that you ran out of the system would contain crap that you didn't want in the system and would just hinder what you just did.
