PROBleme with electrical

Hi, my rx-7 has a small probleme when i close my door both of them even my hatch and my hood the warning sign is flashing my care door are open and i dunno why is there anyway i can remove the cable or unplug them from the main computer ?? if yes plz help lol i don't wanna waste money on remaking my whole wiring :L)



be the way i'm new to this my brother SYRALID was in this befor ei came along lol he gave me is rx-7 he got him self a civic if you can help me out i would be happy thank you.

It sounds like you need to re-solder the idiot light pod. It's easy if you know how, and if you don't, I'm sure you know someone who can solder. If that doesn't work, look at the switches on the door. They're on the bottom corner of the door, near the rear wheels. The ones for the hatch are inside the latches (there's 2 switches). Same applies for the hood.

If your alarm system (doesn't say if you have one or not) is malfunctioning, there are switches on all the locks (except for the glove box). The switches are physically attached to the backside of the barrel. The alarm also goes through the switches on the hood and the hatch.

If it's draining your battery (when the car is actually off), and it isn't alarm system related, then you've got a more serrious problem. There are only a few things directly connected to the battery when the ignition switch is off. The alarm system, the map lights, the trunk light, the headlights/parking lights, brake lights, and headlight motors.
