This is on a 3rd gen w/stock turbo, injector, fuel pump. Right now my engine runs rough on idle and low power/stumbling in the low rpms 0-2000rpm. But as it gets pass 2500 it gets really smooth and accelerates like crazy. You can hear the difference in the exhaust tone. Do you think this shows a bad primary injector? because from my understanding the primary injectors are on during the low rpms and the secondaries come on around 2000rpm? correct me if I'm wrong...

First, check your compression. Once you find out whether it is good or bad you can go from there. If it's good then it could be your injector. I had a similar problem where the primary injector electrical connector came off and it sounded like it only had one rotor, ran horribly and had no power. The power didn't even pretend to come on until 3,500 rpm though. Do a search for a post by me with $100 to whoever can fix my problem in it.

 

David, just get the new injector from P and we can go drifitn again...

 

yeah compression is fine....I'll have to take it apart to check if the connector came off on mine.

does the secondary 850cc injector fit in the primary??
