Powersteering in first gen with S5 T2 swap

Hey. I have a 82 GSL that came with factory power steering and have a series 5 turbo swap. I have all the gsl power steering lines, pressure switch, control valve and of course the power steering box (which is in the car and works great de powered... Over 30mph)

On the engine side I have the series 5 pump, and built in control valve, pressure switch and resivoir.. So my question is which parts to use? I scrapped everything off the pump and was thinking of using the fb parts?

I wanna try out the fb power steering box, do I even need all the control valves and pressure switches? I know it's to bypass the pump at high speeds, but I've seen cars without them.

Any help would be much appreciated. Not doing a fc or rack and pinion swap yet. Doing my diff first and have all the parts laying around for this.
