possible oops. dual apex springs in GSLSE

Built my first engine last year. it has been installed but has yet been ran. So Here is my concern. I used the 3mm Atkins Seals with Mazda large and smaller apex seal springs. I suppose that my mind saw that as a development that is mazda added a second spring, I might as well too. I can't see any reason this would be a mistake. But I would rather find out now than ruin something.

does the engine spin freely? if it does than it should run ok. which springs did you use? the FC/FD style, or GSL-SE and something else?

Spins freely by hand. Nice strong “phoots “ . GSLSE rotors. Turns out the Atkins seals have a notch for the smaller spring. Or so I understand.

it should be fine? the extra spring may or may not help, but it doesn't have anywhere to go either

^If that's the case, you should have no problems - the apex seals are designed to accept/contain the 2 springs, and they can't go anywhere else.
