Possible dirt on the rotor housing.

Hi guys, new to this forum, and new to working on rotaries as a whole.

Just a little while ago I bought a 90 fc, was going to buy it with unknown electrical issues not letting it start. Well the night before I went to pick it up, it got flood damaged. Long story short, there is a bit of dirt settled in the air intake, and everything has had ample time to dry off ( 2 months), I'm gonna be picking up an inspection camera to look in the rotor housing and see if I can actually see any dirt in there.

Aside from just doing a full service on the car, fluids, plugs. Is there anything I should be thinking about doing?

As far as any dirt in the rotor housing goes, I don't have an engine hoist, so I can't pull it. And ways to get it out? Shop vac with a draw and duct tape? Some type of engine flush product? I'd really prefer not to take it to a shop if I don't have to, nearest one is 3 hours away.

If its been flooded, been sitting, and you have no way of taking the engine out, honestly, walk away

Theres a very good chance that every internal bit of that motor is rusted and no good

^ x2 Walk away. If water got up that high, you can guarantee it got inside the passenger compartment. Just think of what the wiring looks like under the insulation. Water migrates up wires even when it has insulation on it. And the computer just sitting on the passenger floorboard.
