Red face another oiler question

sorry to even ask as im sure its as basic as im assuming, but on my custom set up im only running 2 of the oilers (the ones in the 'block'). given that the little oil distribution block has a little lever on it, am i to assume that this is supposed to move open and closed with the throttle position? allowing for more or less oil based on RPM?
ive been mixing my gas for the first bit while testing and tuning, but i should get the oilers figured out sooner than later.

im also going to assume that if i were to fix this distribution blocks lever in say a 'half open' position, it will smoke more down low, and not provide enough lube up high??

If you are premixing you can just get rid of the oil injection system.
The mix will take care of your lubrication no matter what RPM the engine is at.

turbo, yes you are correct. If you check the maintenance manual you will find instructions on testing. (Google rx7 manual foxed)
