possible calp lock up help...

Strong burn smell coming from left rear tire, after parked smell disapates, but while driving and active movement smell comes back. Please any insight...my guess is the caliper...

Nope the e brake was not left on. It is completely down and the panel light is not on for it either.

jack up the rear, release the e-brake and try to spin both rear wheels. if the LR is binding then the caliper may be stuck.

Ok so, I took it off went to put new one on...wrong freaking casting number...had standard calp..went back got right one, slipped it on, and so far..no more smell..the turning seperate helped so its all functional now. Thanks for the advice! Never to old or smart to ask for help!
