porting question.

How to port without template?....any mesurements info....or any tecnical info?...i know the best way is buy templates from rb or pineaple but if i like to do alone without template?

why not make a template yourself and then that can be used to create uniform ports on your housings?.
I'd be worried about making one bigger than the other,.This way you make them pretty well the same.

the main issue is what Misterstyx69 said ... uniformity. also like he said, you can always make your own for FREE. download a degree wheel for FREE and i'm sure you must use something in your house that has a decent-sized cardboard box. it will take some time, but in my opinion, free-handing it is simply not worth it.

In that thread link I posted, I show pics of the way I scribed some lines prior to porting without a template. They're done the manual way. Then once the two sizes were cut, I made a paper template to cut the rest. Turned out well.

If it's your first time, buy a template.

Port shape is the easiest part though. The finesse is the transition from the port to the runner and smoothing out the bowl without making it larger.
