Place that rebuilds for $1500!! True??

I hear there is a place located in Tennessee that you can drive your 7 there in the morning, give them $1500 and pick up later that day with a rebuilt engine. I am in desprate need of a rebuild and I will do ANYTHING to get one for $1500. I am loated in Indiana but I will drive if have to. Thanks for any replies.

That is the right link. I've met Kevin Landers, the owner of Rotary Resurrection and he does solid work. Check out his website for more info.

However, I don't think you can drive it in that morning and drive it out that night rebuilt. This is for several reasons. One, he works alone and only has so much time. Two, he breaks in all his rebuilds before sending them back to the owner. You can only put 1000 (or whatever) miles on an engine so fast.

But, talk to him. For all I know he can do it in a day. If so, power to him .

Back about a year or 2 ago, I wasn't nearly so busy as I am now...I'd get a rebuild in once or twice a month, and was left to pursue my own devices in the meantime. During this time, it wasnt uncommon for a man to drive up Friday at noon and drive off Sunday at noon with a rebuild installed.

Now, however, I do well to keep up with the steady stream of 1-2 engines per week that come in. As such, I am always behind. ABout your best time now is a week, and that's if you bribe me with an expedited fee...normally, plan on 2 weeks. Yes, I build from YOUR engine, not something on the shelf that I put together from someone else's parts...

Give me a call adn we'll talk it over.
