Peripheral port squeaking not starting

I was putting all new gaskets in my 13bpp ida by geneburg.. adjusting fuel pressure almost had it going..wasn't started in a while.. now just a loud Squeak when I turn the key and that's it ! Did the starter go and not grabbing ? From so much fussing trying to get it to start ? Or what went on it while trying to get it going?

like a compression squeak?

a mechanical squeak, an electrical squeak?

does the engine turn fully by hand?

does the engine turn fully by starter?

is your battery fully charged?

what kind of ignition?

what kind of car?

What do you consider the bottom end ??? Like the oil pan ?? Add more to your description. So does the engine turn when you hit the starter switch. You can even try posting a video it might help us better help you. at this point it's kinda a guessing game. Might be the carb pulling air thru some where a gasket was replace.
