Opinion of wear on these seals?
i was hoping somebody could give me an idea as to what causes seals to wear like this?
lowish compression on the rear rotor, front rotor was fine, side seals were all good.
only notable thing was a little wear during the pulldown. a bit of a shamfer where it has worn more, towards each end of the seal, lines up with the exhaust port edges.
did not suffer the same problem on the front rotor seals. no seals seem to be warped, were checked on sheet of glass with feelers. 2,000km in the car @ 20psi. although it was like angry pack rape on the motor with the way i drive

- see the carbon streak where the apex seal is not following the housing
suspect the lip of that exhaust port is lifting the seal up under heat
spec it out and maybe go nuts on both with chamfer

if you say so...
chamfer looks fine to me, seal warpage under various circumstances would be my guess. you can blame it on the seals warping out in the center or you can blame it on a lean condition which is warping the seals out in the center.
easy fix would just be to add water injection, should help prevent whatever is going on.
