Oil Metering Pump line orientation

I've run into another weird hangup that should've been easily avoidable; I don't remember which port on my OMP is for the front housing and which is for the rear. Depending on where I read on here it either doesn't matter or it does. The FSM doesn't seem to have any real helpful information on it either. It does seem odd that the pump shaft doesn't have any indicator as to how to orient it either, so perhaps it isn't an issue. Any input/help would be super appreciated.

for a...? the different years/models have different orientations.

i usually put the lines on the engine first, and then the metering pump end usually sorts itself out

My bad. This is on a ‘95, and I’m installing stainless lines if that makes a difference. One does appear slightly closer than the other, but it’s hard for me to say since I’m such a noob at this and I assume aftermarket lines aren’t gonna be as close as OEM.
