oil+dirt inside, how to clean the turbo?

I found out my turbocharger has some oil and dirt inside, can I spray carb cleaner directly to the compressor wheel?
or any other ways to clean it?

I asked a couple of reputable rotary shops and they did not recommend that. They said the crap that comes loose will probably get stuck some where inside. I guess you just have to be absolutely good about cleaning everything out of there.

That really doesn't make any sense.
The dirt and crud is sitting on the walls just because there's a little oil there.&nbsp What if it falls out someday?&nbsp You'll end up with the same thing...

Getting it cleaned is a lot better option than that...
I never saw another option you've suggested.
Taking it apart and cleaning it thoroughly is a royal pain in the *** for some people...
