O2 sensor ?

My car does not have the O2 sensor hooked up but my car runs fine. Should I hook it up or leave it alone? The wire is just hanging there.

If I understand correctly not having it hooked up will hurt your gas mileage. It would prevent the ECU from going into closed-loop mode.
