Not starting now.....

Well i replaced my engine belts, but while i did that, i accidently. moved the alternator into another mount and it hit the part where the alternators power conects to, and sparks ofcourse jumped, now the next time i go to start it, i get nothing, but the headlights do come on, please help if u have any advise, 87 FC, non-turbo.

you blew your main fuse
get a new one it should be an 80 amp buss fuse

It should be the main fuse in the like Dom said, it's on the drivers side strut tower

i didn't think our rx7's had fusable links. i've never seen one on mine. never heard of one before on the 7's i know some honda's hav ethen but never seen on e for a mazda. but it definetly sounds like the main fuse. i hooked my battery up backwards once and same thing happened. positive the main fuse is blown.
