The only way to tell if the injectors are bad is pull them out and check the ohms. Not sure what the clicking would be though. You could get the error codes and see what it says. If it does that at around 3800 rpm, it's your secondaries that are bad. Describe the clicking noise. Does it sound like pinging from the engine?

Your motor is pinging for one reason or another. Since it a new motor make sure and check the following.....

Check the wires and make sure they are hooked up correctly.

Leading one - lower left
Leading two - lower right
Trailing one - upper left
Trailing two - upper right.

I could be wrong there cause im not looking at the engine at the moment but the housings are clearly marked. THe housing facing the front of the car is ONE and the one facing the rear of the car is TWO.

Check the wires first.....

Then check the base timing. Make sure your timing is not off.

Check those things and let me know.

Hope it helps.

One more thing, you mentioned 4th gear, what boost are you running. I had a 2nd gen and if you have full exhaust they are known to 'boost crep' when you hit it in 4th.
