new to exhaust setup need some advice

ok im new to the whole exhaust setup deal, and need some advice and teaching. i drive a 91 NA FC and have read a few threads here, and there along with the mazdatrix writings, and the racing beat guides, and i've learned anything larger than a 2.5" pipe is far too loud for a street NA. i do want to go single exhaust and have read single is louder than dual so here is what i have in mind. i'm thinking a dual pre silencer setup would be the way to go for going single exhaust.

Racing Beat Streetable Header to Racing Beat Pre Silencer to Racing Beat Pre Silencer to High Flow Cat to Feed HS-R Catback.

im not sure the high flow cat is necessary or would even fit in to the setup maybe some help with that? now i know with smog and all that garbage i have to deal with in California this setup is 100% unacceptable but i was thinking id keep the factory setup handy for when smog comes around. i am looking for that low tone purr. i think i remember reading that a good intake upgrade is also a + when upgrading the exhaust. any help and feedback would be appreciated

Forget about a header sice you have a stock motor. Just get a down pipe and straight pipe to replace the cat.

Drive it to atlantic muffler in east la early sunday morning, remove the above parts and save it for the next smog inspection. You should be done by 10am.

i was thinking of getting a mild street port as well with in the year so i still have a chance at emissions passing which is why i was thinking of the setup i mentioned above
