New Bolra catback+ two converters+ and a rusty header = White smoke!

Hi everyone,

I am a new member of this club. I wish I could make meet some rotary and royal friends in here. These days, I purchased a 89' Rx7 GXL with a fare condition. Whole pipes rusty, all brake systems need to be repaired, and some interior and exterior works. However, this is not my question. After I took my car to a repair shop to hook up my two converters, and a borla catback. Some slightly white smoke came out from the converter or the header. (it looks like from the header.) Does anyone have this kind of situation that install a new exhaust system and come out some white smoke?
In addition, it smells like plastic.

Thank you

Why do you keep posting in this section?
Why not post in the 2nd gen section?

Let the exhaust "break in" for a week and see if the smoke goes away?

Who cares, the guy is here to ask questions not take our money. But for the OP yes it is normal, it should be gone by well under a week. Good luck with the 7 and take care.
