need wiring help
searching didnt help at all, and for want of a better area im posting this here.
i have a 90 na that has been converted to to an 87T2 setup. everything is fine except this one little bit of a wiring issue that we cant solve. the coils are getting power but we cant seen to find the wire to actually trigger them to turn on.
if anyone has converted an S5 to an S4 turbo can they give me some advice, or if they have access to information on how it was wired up if they can pass that info along to me. THANKS!

The coils/ignitors get triggered from the ECU.
See http://www.teamfc3s.org/info/articles/demystifying.html
There's a two socket, conenctor on the Lead Coil assy. One wire is black/yellow. The other wire is the trigger wire from the ECU.
The CAS makes a signal when it is rotated and sends that voltage signal to the ECU. The ECU uses that signal to operate the coils/ignitors and the duty cycle of the fuel injectors.
Series five wiring diagrams can be had by downloading from here: https://www.rx7club.com/forum/showth...ht=photobucket
Ignore the Trail coils. Just work on the Lead coil assy. Car runs fine without the trail
Make sure the ENGINE fuse in the interior is good or the car won't start.
