Since I don't know to much about these engines. its a great opportunity for me to learn as much as I can. I really just convinced my wife that it should be done. All I have is the engine hoist and the engines. I will be ordering the big freaking wrench from mazdatrix for the flywheels soon. Soon as I get that I will start take the engines apart. I want to make sure I cover all the angles before I get started.
I am going to do a 13B 4 port with the engines from a '85. I was wondering as to what rebuild kit to purchase. I am not certain if I need a kit for the 12A or 13B. Or do I have to get the older 13B 4 port kit?

As far as fuel delivery goes.. I think its best if I go with a holley 650 (hopeing someone on the forum can help me with tuning) and a raceing beat intake. I was also planning on getting the RB exhaust thats set for a bridge ported engines.
