Need opinions on thestate of this pitting, only on the front iron The others have the regular groove which is not a major concern for me, this just has the pitting on the low side of the groove. Would you consider using these? My main purpose for the car is just a summer cruiser 5000km a year if I'm lucky probably 2 years before I decide to go to new housings and a bridge.

Can you feel it with a pick or your fingernail?

Looks like the groove is pretty deep

 

You can feel the groove with your nail but it does not stop your nail

 

its up to you if you wanna run it, it will probably run, but will probably burn oil, you have some pitting and gouging on the port side also which you'd probably get some blowby

if you want it reliable, I'd source a different iron

 

As long as nothing crosses the oil seal track, I'd run it.

Oil seals seem to be extremely sensitive to imperfect surfaces compared to side seals.

 

Thank you for the opinions, as it sits I'm 5050 as to whether I'm gonna run them. nothing crosses into the oil o rings, my bro will be coming up this weekend and see what he says as he is the builder and lives closely to a great source of used rotary parts.
