s4 motor, don't think it's ported. Atleast the runners wernt I guess it could have a bit of port work done to it though but my guess would be no. looks clean though so maybe it rebuilt and had a bit of porting done. maybe

+1 on the Series 4 engine.

The exhaust ports are definetly un-touched. Stock TII ehxaust sleeves. Its harder to see the intake, but I can't see any tell-tale tooling marks, but IF it is ported it's only the intake and not much at that.

good point !!

Its missing Injector boss' too in the intermediate iron.

You *may* have an old school 13B carb'd there. Someone may have installed an S4 water pump at some point, but its certainly not an FC engine.

ooo good point. I was basing my opinion partially on the fact that it had the s4 thermostat housing and it looks like it has coolant passages on the housings above the exhaust ports but am not sure it may just be the camera angle and stuff

Looks like a Hodge Podge engine. I'm *fairly* sure only the rear rotor housing has a open water passage and that picture shows both water passages open. Reminds me of first gen non EFI housings in that respect.

Then he JB welded the holes below the exaust ports for some reason.

Looks like it could be an early 13b 4-port (74-75). It appears to have some crude porting done. You can see the grind marks deep inside the primary for the rear rotor. Actually it looks like a 12A, some better pictures and the number off the flywheel will tell all.
