NEED HELP FROM A WELDING EXPERT! Miller Syncrowave is being stubborn

Anyone running a Miller Syncrowave 250? I Need assistance diagnosing my grumpy TIG box. I've got one that has been sitting for about 10 years unused.

Everything seems to be working fine except for the gas flow. Tank is full, I have gas out of the tank hose but nothing out of the electrode nozzle cup. Do I need to have the unit ON to hear gas flow out of the cup? Could the gas solenoid be dead/stuck? How would I tell/troubleshoot?
The Lincoln machine I used to use witht he machine on and the gas open at the tank you could hear gas flowing.

Any help would be appreciated or a few minutes of your time on the phone so I can make a decision if I need to take it in for service or not woudl be great.

PM me if feel inclined to lend me a hand.
Regards,
Crispy

The Lincoln I use and all Millers I have used in the past have had to have power on to hear car from the cup. Its actually kind of annoying because if you turn on the gas then the welder flows gass for a few seconds as if you had completed a weld (postflow). If you turn it on and it doesnt gas then work the pedal (wouldnt strike an arc) and see if gas flows then. If it still doesnt flow gas the gas valve, the lines, or the torch itself might need replacing. This is all sort of maintenance items anyway so most if not all welding centers should have what you need on hand and get you going no problem.

edit if you want some on the phone help just shoot me a PM and I will do what I can.

Thanks for the help.
I blew air through the line from the welder to the torch...no issues...plenty of flow. Has to be the solenoid.

I'll let you know if it all works out.
Again thanks for helping me out.
