Need help with NA S4 rotors in a FD engine
I was thinking about running a set of s4 rotors in my FD. I will be running the stock ECU. I know I should swap the front counter wieght out of the NA engine but can I run the stock FD flywhell or do I need to run an lighten flywheel with the automatic counter weight?
Also has anyone that has done this had any fuel problems with the 9.4 rotors at 10psi of boost?
Thanks

For the flywheel, you'll either need to use an S4 TII stock flywheel or use an aftermarket flywheel on an S4 automatic counterweight. The FD flywheel will not balance properly with the S4 rotors and S4 front counterweight.
Are you sure about that? I've never run an S4 TII stock flywheel with an FD clutch but I know the lightweight flywheels are the same for the TII's and the FD and the RX-8 for that matter.
You can't do this unless you rebalance your 13B-REW front counterweight, or machine an S4 front couterweight to accept the 13B-REW wider Torrington bearings / thrust washer, or swap out the entire front stat gear assembly...
Why not run a set of S5 NA rotors and not worry about all this crap?
S5 NA = 9.7:1 CR

The reason I am looking into doing it is becouse I have a good s4 engine laying around and want to get the FD up and running. I dont want to pay the 300 for one 9.0 rotor and this would give me a bit more kick with the twins.
I know Rotary Resurrection has done this before with a red auto he had.
