I have a 93 fd and i the other day i was driving and i came up to a stop sign and it stalled.It didn't start for the first 2 times on the 3 rd try it started right up.When i got home i checked the basics fluid,vacum lines,oil leaks ect..It was a liltle low on oil so the next day i got the oil changed.on the way out of the place i got the oil changed it stalled again they told me it could be the fuel filter because it stunk of gasoline.So i have my cousin who is a mechanic but isn't fimilar with the rotary install the fuel filter.Now the car didn't start at all so we change the spark plugs and notice a small crack in one of the vacum lines,fixed the v line and it starts up runs ok for 5mins and then it starts spuddering and blowing out black smoke and stinks like gas then stalls out.please help

 

someone said it could be an open injector is thais possible?

 

how many miles on the motor? and is there anything done to it or is it stock? we need more info.

 

i bought the car about 2 years ago with 91000 miles the previous owner had a rebuild done not sure at what mileage lost the paper work.The car came with a full exhaust,Greddy front mount,Apexi power Fc and I put in a Greddy turbo timer and a new clutch.Now it has 98000kmi

2nd generatoin. They have similiar problems as you probably can solve faster, too. It's worth a try.
