need help fast flywheel and counter?

I am putting a 13bre in a samurai I want to use a 1st gen trans because I allreday had 1 I have an 87 13b can I swap the front counter weight and use the 87 flyuwheel?

No. The rotors are different weights. The S5 NA rotors and S5/S6 turbo rotors are the same weight. You should be able to use the S5 NA flywheel with that rotating assembly.

Yes. All the NA flywheels will work with that tranny as far as diameter. But you need to have the flywheel properly weighted to match the rotors. Read this. It may help.

2nd and 3rd gen flywheels are pretty much the same right? i have a racing beat im looking to sell with a new counter weight and hardware. pm me if interested
