I'm looking at buying a 7 finally, i did find one in my home town for sale (1 of 3) i live in Las Vegas NV and to see one for sale here is amazing. anyways the one i'm looking at is a 93' R1 and i'm a bit skeptical. because of a few things. 1st it has some minor body damage and it needs a paint job, 2nd when he tuned it on the car's idel was jumping between 600 and 1000, when i turned on the a/c it seemed like it was struggling to stay on. and after a while i it sounded like it was knocking. i still have to test drive it (in the porcess of geting new cluch). My question is do you think i should look for one els where or what, are these porblems with the motor serious or not (does it need a tune up)? i really serious about buying an RX7 because l love them and it's been a dream car forever so if anyone who has suggestions please Help Me.
