Need Help Bad Electrical Problem

There are a few elements to this issue:

-two of the warning lights seldom appear, the rest dont at all
-the clock sometimes comes on
-both of the head units ive had have blown out
-at the same time the head units go out, the cabin light does as well
-there are three disconnected wires underneath the steering column, two red (one thicker than the other), and one blue.
-Just last night the car started this horrible high-pitched beeping (when i had the headlights on for about 10 minutes) that went on for 2-3 minutes straight, and then just went away.

All the fuses and relays are fine. This problem has been bugging me, and i know that this is an FC (1987 non-turbo) and that all these problems come with the whole package, but this one has me stumped. Any help would be so greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Almost all of your problems can be solved by checking the stickied thread in here.

The last one, however, I have no idea..more details? Is the car moving? Is the idling erratic?

the beeping is a strangely erratic problem. Its spontaneous. But i was testing it, turning things off and on, and apparently when the headlights come off, the beeping immediately stops. however, until the little "shift up" light comes on, its a steady noise. but when the "shift up" light does come on, its cut into short beeps, like morse code or something. when its not beeping, it sounds like an internet dial-up connection after dialing the phone number. just loud static noise. Thats most if not all the details i can come up with.

what do you mean by "stickied thread"?
